Signed by the author on ffep. Most of these poems were written by the author during his service as an Army Chaplain during WWII. Born in Georgia in 1908 and becoming a Methodist minister traveling around the country and to the Philippines during World War II.

Dr. Frank Johnson Pippin, dynamic pulpiteer and administrator, served as senior minister from 1946 until his retirement in 1966 with the gift of a year-long sabbatical from the congregation. During Dr. Pippin’s tenure, Community had one of its most phenomenal eras of growth and witness. Dr. Pippin died in a car crash in 1968. Community christian church in Kansas MO
