SIGNED FIRST EDITION (First impression of the First Edition) entitled “England 1940,” subtitled “And Other Poems,” by Vera I. Arlett.

It was published by The Linden Press, of London, in 1958, is one of the wonderful “Poets of To-Day” editions, is the FIRST EDITION, and has been SIGNED by the author.

The 54 pages are nice and neat, with a little light foxing to the rims. The binding is good with no loose or missing pages. Apart from the author’s signature on the title page, there are no other ink or pencil markings in the book. The cover is in very good condition for a softback of its age, with minor wear, and is a little grubby.
