RARE 1922 Book of Poetry by WWI Poet. "The League Of Nations". SIGNED BY AUTHOR. Privately Printed, 1 of 260 copies (255 on antique white paper, 5 on vellum). This copy is on white antique paper. Gilt lettering and design on cover and spine. Gilt letering on spine also beautiful. 165 pp. Inscription by author on free front endpaper: "Louis Morand / a countryman of Lafayette / who served us so well in bygone days / Alfred A. Furman / June 9 1934". ONLY COPY ON INTERNET I could find. Book is in about Very Good+ condition. Contents of book suggest War and Patriotic themes (United States Marines, Old Glory, Red Cross Nurses, The Kaiser's Treaty, Liberty Day, The League of Nations, etc.).
