LARGE BOOK OF HAND TYPED STORIES POEMS COPIED EVENTS OF BEFORE & AFTER WW1. this book came from a time capsule that was found in the basement of a victorian house, It was well protected in a sealed case,,the binder is a heavy original metal and wood with a covering over it,,the pages inside vary in paper type,,from a heavy paper that is thick to a very thin paper ,,some appears to be hand typed,others may be copies,,,,this book covers the pre and post war years,with writings from solders,of different ranks,sayings from the bible,peoms,,dated of events,,war cost,,,casuality list,,JOHN D ROCKEFELLER JR is mentioned in it,,there is Lusitania notes 1915,an so on,..

11 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches and is 21/8 inch thick and weighs 6 1/2 pounds

Contains various notes and passages on different subjects ranging from history of the English Language to studies of Egypt and the bible. Works by variuos authors. Green cover with scarlet edges and gold decoration. Large pegs come out of the binding.
