Contains various songs. "The soldiers and sailors of every war create and sing certain songs in which they find spiritual unity. Somtimes these songsa are somber and sentimental; sometimes they are gay and rollicking with the humor that is typical of our national mood. We at home learn to sing the same songs, for our tasks are identical with those of the men overseas. We sing these same songs, because we want to be united to them and to feel that we, too, are a part of the great spiritual forces which sustain them."
