"This is a hand written poem tiled the Wounded Soldier written by Sergeant John A Mckee of the 74th Ohio.. Poem is about a wounded soldier at Battle of Stone River. Still has some candle dripping on the 1st page from when it was written. McKee- Enlisted 1/28/1862 as private... drowned 2/1/1864 at Cincinatti Ohio."
