Title: Reminiscence of the World at War. From the Pen of Virgil Parkins [wrapper title]. Author: Parkins, Virgil.

Publisher: n. p.], (1932).. First edition..

Description: Small oblong 8vo, original printed stiff wrappers, [16] pages

.The ensuing poem, 'The Croix de Guerre,' while possibly exaggerated to some extent, no doubt symbolizes incidents of similar nature that were realities in the lives of our boys who served so faithfully their country abroad. That, accompanied by repeated requests from officers of the various war organizations, and the boys themselves, prompted its publication. One might charitably conclude that Parkins' narrative verses embody the confusion of battle. Also includes his poem, "Gold Star Mothers."

Book Condition: A trifle worn; a very good copy. This title (nor any others by Parkins) found on OCLC, despite the impressive list of his works
