A rare collection of poems and songs (words only - no music included in this book) from the Civil War. The book is softcover, with an oilcloth type cover. 96 pages. 5" x 8". It is possible that Angie Beebe was associated with the Womans Relief Corps, as among the poems and songs are pages of pictures of a Womans Relief Corps medal and also a couple of pictures of women involved in the organization. There are also color plates of Army Corps Badges from the Civil War. There is also a photo of Thomas J. Stewart, head of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), the Civil War veteran's association.
