rifleman in the king's rifles. Served in France and Salonica

Poems of a Private...A Souvenir of France and Salonica, by T.B. Clark, 11th edition, published by William Nicholson and Sons, London. There is no date evident on the book, but I think it was probably published around 1918. This is a small book of poems, paperback, 64 pages. There is a black and white photograph of the author in uniform as frontispiece, and an author's note stating the poems were written in the Trenches "during the short intervals of a soldier's leisure". Poems include: Honour to the Brave, composed Oct. 1915, Pilgrims of the Night, The Rifle Brigade, Pick and Shovel Division, K.R.R.E.s, The Canteen Line, Salonica to Blighty - and back - a nightmare in fourteen days, Captain Dimmer, V.C. and many more - 26 in all. Very rare item.
