A WW1 book of period poetry entitled “Shrapnel Green – A memory of Gallipoli” by Oscar Walters. A very good condition book with over 30 poems taken form the Sydney Bulletin newspaper. The forward is by Herbt. B. Collett president of the WA Branch of the RSL. It was published by the “The People’s Printing and publishing Coy of West Aust’. The author served in WW1 with the 3rd Field Coy Eng. AIF. A limited publication to raise “funds for the alleviation of distress”.
