Epic poem from 6th century CE. Sometimes about 600 AD a warior band from south of Edinburgh, (Gododdin) sent out against and English Army. The met in battle at Catterickand were slaughtered to a man. The poem is a witness of that fournt in the first language of northern britan at that time. Welsch. The poem is an eulogy .
