This is Piontek's sixth volume of poetry but the first to appear in an English translation. It is part of the Unicorn German Series. This is a bilingual edition of an important German writer still relatively unknown to English readers. In his Introduction, Richard Exner justly remarks, "He is eloquent but not wordy. He has become a master at cutting his own poems to the bone." 61 pages. This copy is in very good condition. The binding is solid and the cover shows almost no wear. The text is clean and unmarked.
