The book is clean and unmarked, and its binding is square and tight. Approximately half the book's pages (there appear to be about 200, but it is unpaginated) consists of text, mostly in English, and mostly essays (with a few poems) on the military upheaval in Croatia following the collapse of Yugoslavia. A few of the essays/poems are in French or Italian. The other half of the book consists of photographs (some color, mostly black & white) of the events described.
