Constance Ada Renshaw (d. 1964) was a Sheffield poet, much admired by Gosse and Quiller-Couch and recipient of many awards in her lifetime. These poems are about people (Rupert Brooke, Amy Johnson, Ellen Terry and others), places (Sheffield, Yorkshire Moors, Edinburgh), the war (The Passing of Submarine M1, The Camerons, The Men who Came Back) and other subjects. Preface and four parts. 82pp., black boards with attractive gilt roundel enclosing a poppy on front board, gilt spine lettering. Signed and dated by author on title page. One signature uncut. 7.75" x 5".
