"Mr. Pennant was born in NYC in 1917. He attended City College, Columbia University and the New School for Social Research. During World War II, Mr. Pennant saw combat with the infantry in Europe. Some of the finest poems in I, Too, Jehova record impressions of the world as seen from rolling armor in a foreign country in the midst of the war"
In l994 he served as Poet-in-Residence, working with Honors Cadets in the English Dept. of the West Point Military Academy.
