"Mr. Pennant was born in NYC in 1917. He attended City College, Columbia University and the New School for Social Research. During World War II, Mr. Pennant saw combat with the infantry in Europe. (1917-2002) Poet. Edmund Pennant lived in Bayside, Queens, New York and was co-editor of POETRYBAY. One of his poems is "Remembering Buchenwald" He served in WW2

In l994 he served as Poet-in-Residence, working with Honors Cadets in the English Dept. of the West Point Military Academy.
