Doug Anderson is a poet and a playwright. His play, Short Timers, was produced in NYC in 1981. His poetry has appeared in The massachusetts Review, Peregrine, The Southern Review, River City, Poet and Critic and other literary magazines. His critical work has appeared in the New York Times Book Review and the London TImes Literary Supplement. He lives in Northampton, MA and teaches playwriting and theater courses at Hampshire and Smith Colleges. Bamboo Bridge is the seventh in a series of poetry chapbooks to be published by Amherst Writers and Artists Press.
