"From the frozen Chosin in Korea to the DMZ in Vietnam the author brings some of the action that happen in Two Wars. He also tells about his time in the Presbyterian orphan home is Lynchburg Virginia. These are poems wrote in combat in Vietnam and fifty years after the fact he wrote about the Chosin Reservoir."

"James Eugene Canada, nicknamed "Jeep" was born in Boones Mill Virginia in September 30, 1932. Lost mother when he was six years old and spent 10 years in the Presbyterian Orphan Home.
Joined the marines on 7th December 1949 and would stay for 20 years retiring December 1969. As a marine he would serve three tours in a war zone. Wounded each time earning three Purple Hearts. One during the Korean War, two for the two tours in Vietnam.
As a marine he would serve as a Drill Instructor, Pathfinder for Force Recon earning his jumpwings at For Benning Ga. in the late 1950s teaching most weapons and tactics in N.C. School N.B.. Warfare and Jungle Warfare School. Last tour of duty in Vietnam was the Company Gunny for K-3-1.
Received AADegree at Mira Costa College and attended Pepperdine Unv. for two years. His hobbies are gardening, fishing, stamp collecting, writing, and poetry. Has manyp oems that has been published.
