Dean,
I still have available copies. Send me your address and I will send you one or more if you wish. Purchase and shipping is $15.00. I am working on a smaller group of poems which include updating several of the poems in my book and a number of new poems. I will gladly send them on when they are completed. I have written a novel about my experiences and am working to find a publisher. Its current title is "Mickey 6" - my radio call sign. I was with the First Division working out of Quon Loi with 1/28th and Lai Khe with 1/16. We operated from Thu Doc just outside the Bien Hao Airbase/Saigon area, over to the Parrot's Beak and all the way up to Quon Loi. I was in-Country from 4/16/68 to 9/1/68. How nearby were you.
Nice to hear from you. Thanks for your service.
Welcome home,
John

Hi Dean,
I think it's wonderful that you returned to Vietnam to see those people. I spent most of my time in the field on patrol and ambush and made no Vietnamese friends, but I hold great respect for the Vietnamese and wish them well. I'll get the book (signed) out to you in the next few days. We're waiting out an ice-storm today. I'll send you (signed) a copy of Forever In Black and include a couple of loose leaf poems of more recent vintage about my experiences.
Again, thanks for your service and welcome home,
John M. Koelsch
