Poems From DaNang is a collection of poems about the Vietnam War experience told through the eyes of Vincent W. Carroll, who served there as a Chaplain.
He began writing poetry in 1964 at the Writers Workshop Program at the University of Iowa.
he published "Poems from DaNang," reflecting on his service in Vietnam in the early 1970s. His thoughts, then, were recorded on photographs, and they are incorporated in the book, along with the poems they have since inspired.
