Reilly 251. Signed and inscribed by Barett Park on FEP "to Major Clarance Luiton with best regards". Signature is dated September 1944. A small book of poetry by a Harvard gruduate stationed in England as a member of the 8th Air Force Pepl. Depot.

These poems are written about England in war-time by an American serving in the Army of the United States, and stationed in this country. Barrett Parker had some of his early schooling in England, and has since made several visits. He speaks of people and places of which he has known over the years. A graduate of Haverford College and Harvard University, he was a member of the Book Review Staff of the Boston Transcript for three years and a contributor to various periodicals both here and in his own country.
